THE WHITSUNDAYS IS ALL ABOUT SAILING
Whitsunday Sailing is a local eco-friendly family business. We own two boats - a classic 62ft tallship schooner Providence V offering day and sunset sails and our newest vessel 54ft French yacht MiLady which offers exclusive overnight and day private charters.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to honour and protect the World Heritage UNESCO listed Great Barrier Reef, the only living organism to be seen from space. The biggest threat to the Great Barrier Reef is climate change. We pride ourselves on caring about the environment and have been eco-accredited by Ecotourism Australia. We are also Healthy Heart partners with the Whitsunday Regional Council counting our carbon emissions so we can reduce our carbon footprint.
We don't sell bottled water. We have a minimum of waste onboard and use biodegradable plates and recycled wrapping. We have the latest environmental toilets. We handed back a tourism award because it was sponsored by the coal giant Adani. Best of all - we have a low carbon footprint - we use our sails when we can.
Want to help protect this beautiful reef? Our latest tailored cruises focus on preserving our coral and reef for future generations. Jump on board and get involved in saving this amazing life and helping it to recover.

ABOUT US
Whitsunday Sailing is a family run and operated business.
Grant and Lindsay found Providence V on their honeymoon back in 2003 and their combined family of five kids have grown up learning how to sail on her.
In 2013, they bought MiLady in Barcelona. In 2018, they shipped her to Australia. After sailing around the Ionian Islands in western Greece and the west coast of Italy, her new home is the Great Barrier Reef.
Grant owned his first cray boat when he was 18 and has worked as a commercial diver and dived for sea urchins in his home state of Tasmania. Lindsay is the author and co-author of 11 books. Her most recent book - Following its Dirty Footsteps: Adani won a Queensland Literary Award in 2019.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY
Relaxing cruise that caters for everyone
My husband and I wanted something easy and relaxing to do at the end of a long day of travelling. This cruise is unique, informative (Captain shared some Airlie Beach history) and picturesque. The crew were very professional and provided excellent customer service
